It is a well known fact that the earth’s ozone layer is getting severely depleted due to emmissions from industrial fumes as well as vehicle exhaust fumes. A recent study has shown that the problem is further compunded by animal farts (i don’t know if humans are included considering the global population explosion) mainly from ranches that keep large herds of sheep and cows.
The emissions from millions of sheep, cows and goats comprise Australia’s third-largest source of gases blamed for climate change. A beef cow expells the equivalent of around 1,500 kilograms (3,300 pounds) of carbon per year. Normally, majority of carbon pollution is produced by the burning of fossil fuels such as oil and coal.
Researchers will explore changing diets and chemical and biological controls of stomach bacteria to reduce methane production, as well as genetic approaches such as selective breeding. The government’s top climate change advisor, Professor Ross Garnaut, suggested in a major report on global warming last year that one solution would be for Australians to eat more kangaroos and reduce the number of farm animals.

The sun is finally starting to show up around my small town. Everywhere i go, i hear the sound of birds chirping and butterflies dancing up and down the park flowers….spring is just around the corner. To be brutally honest, my piggy bank give in some weeks ago, i think right around Thanksgiving. the numerous Black Friday deals on offer were just too temping to pass up.
Anywho, i have decided to embark on a three pronged plan to make myself some spare change in readiness for the spring offers! First off, i think i will take up a paper route and deliver the dailies to my neighbours and friends. Secondly, i need to have our lawn mower repaired so that i can cut Mrs. Randall’s lawn before the other guy shows up… 
And finally, i can simply grovel in from of my dad hoping he can throw me some spare change for various odd jobs. This i believe is the best game plan of all so just wish me luck people…
